Please ensure you read these terms before using our services. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms, as well as our Terms of Use and Privacy policies.
- Services Meaning
Our services include but are not limited to:
- Enquiries
- Quotations
- Installations
- Repairs
- Emergencies
- Servicing
- Maintenance
- Rates
The total charge will consist of:
- Labour: Charged according to our current rates.
- Materials: Supplied by us.
If a customer requests the installation of their own fittings, and these are either faulty or not at the work location when the engineer(s) arrives, an hourly charge will apply for the time spent on site, based on our standard rates.
- Price Work
The total charge will be provided as a company cost, inclusive of labour and materials, and all costs are subject to VAT. Quotations requiring a site visit will incur a charge equivalent to one hour at our hourly rate. If the quotation is accepted and the work proceeds, this charge will be deducted from the final cost.
- Liability
Our liability is confined to rectifying work that falls under our guarantees. We shall not be held accountable for any subsequent damage or claims resulting from other work that was either overlooked or requested at a later stage but not undertaken initially.
- Invoices & Payment
Upon your agreement to undertake estimated or prebooked work, a deposit of 50% of the total fee may be requested. We reserve the right to require full payment in advance. Once the work is completed, an invoice will be issued, and payment is due upon receipt. We accept payment via card, bank transfer, or cash on site to our operative.
- Timekeeping
We will make every reasonable effort to ensure that the tradesperson attends as agreed. However, we accept no liability for the non/late attendance of the tradesperson or the non/late delivery of materials. We will not be liable for delays or the consequences of delays due to causes beyond our control, and we will be entitled to a reasonable extension of time to perform such obligations.
- Cancellation
If you need to cancel or rearrange your booking, you must notify us by the end of the working day before the scheduled booking to avoid charges. If cancellation occurs immediately prior to the work or materials being supplied, you will be liable for any incurred costs.
We reserve the right to refuse or decline work at our discretion.
- Guarantee
We provide a guarantee on labour conducted by us, active from the date of completion, in addition to any manufacturer’s warranty. The guarantee will be void if the work completed or supplied by us is subject to misuse, negligence, or is repaired or modified by anyone other than our engineers.
Our work is only guaranteed in respect of tasks directly undertaken by us with full payment having been made. We do not guarantee faults arising from recommended work not undertaken by us. For installations over 10 years old or of inferior quality, no warranty is given, and we accept no liability for the effectiveness of such work.
- Privacy Policy
We do not store credit card details. The company does not offer refunds on completed work.
- General
These terms and conditions, and all contracts awarded between us and you, shall be governed and construed in accordance with English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.
All electrical installation work will comply with BS7671: 2018 and any amendments in force at the time of the works.
